Aidan Kim Earns Big Ten Player of the Week Honors |
Ohio State Junior's Stellar Performance at ITA All-American Championships Recognized |
Aidan Kim, a junior from Milford, Michigan, has been named the Big Ten Player of the Week following his impressive performance at the 2025 ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Kim secured five victories against opponents from Mississippi State, Baylor (twice), Georgia, and Texas, before falling in the finals to Jay Friend of Arizona.
This achievement also earned him a spot in the upcoming NCAA Singles Championships in Orlando, Florida.
His recognition marks the second consecutive week an Ohio State player has received this honor, with sophomore Nikita Filin being acknowledged the previous week for his performance at the same tournament.
Filin concluded the event with an 8-2 singles record and a 5-1 doubles record.
Looking ahead, the Buckeyes are set to compete at the Midwest Regionals in Chicago from October 16-20.
