The Highland Township Library is thrilled to announce its annual Used Book Sale, scheduled for October 16–18, 2025.
This much-anticipated event offers book enthusiasts a chance to explore a vast selection of gently used books, including novels, non-fiction, children's literature, and more.
Proceeds from the sale directly support the library's programs and community events.
The sale kicks off with a Friends-only preview on Wednesday, October 15, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
Members of the Friends organization enjoy early access to the collection, providing a first look at the available titles.
Memberships are available at the door for those interested in joining.
On Thursday, October 16, the sale opens to the general public from 2:00 to 7:00 pm.
This is an excellent opportunity to browse the collection at a leisurely pace.
Friday, October 17, welcomes shoppers from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, offering a quieter environment for families and casual readers.
Friendly volunteers will be on hand to assist with any questions or recommendations.
The event culminates on Saturday, October 18, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, featuring the popular "Bag Day" deals.
Shoppers can fill a bag with books for a flat fee, making it an ideal day for bargain hunters and those looking to stock up for the winter months.
In addition to books, the sale often includes puzzles, board games, DVDs, and CDs.
