With a rich background spanning more than three decades in the banking sector, Shelly Dickerson has been a cornerstone of Huron Valley State Bank  for the past 16 years. As Vice President and Branch Manager of the Highland Branch, she leads business development initiatives, mentors her team, and ensures exceptional customer service, fostering enduring relationships within the Huron Valley community.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Shelly has been married to her husband, Marty, for 33 years. Together, they have a 19-year-old daughter, Tori, and enjoy the company of their Portuguese Water Dog, Max. The family cherishes Michigan summers, often spending time boating and embracing the outdoors.

 

Shelly's commitment to the community extends to her role as an Ambassador with the Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce. This position enables her to connect with local business owners, fostering valuable relationships and contributing to the region's economic vitality.

 

Under Shelly's leadership, the Highland Branch has actively participated in numerous community initiatives. Notably, the bank's annual “Soup-er Bowl” drive in February 2024 collected over 230 cans of soup for the Open Door Outreach Center, supporting families in need. Additionally, during the 2024 holiday season, the branch organized a toy drive for the Community Sharing Outreach Center, bringing joy to local children. These efforts underscore the bank's dedication to making a positive impact in the communities it serves.
