Black Friday Sales Start Earlier Than Ever

Black Friday Sales Start Earlier Than Ever
What Shoppers Need to Know

Greg Wilson

Nov 17, 2025

Trivia Question❓

In what year was the Village of Milford officially incorporated as a village?

Answer at the bottom of the newsletter

Black Friday has evolved from a single day of frenzied deals into a weeks-long shopping event in 2025.

Major retailers—both online and in-store—are launching sales earlier than ever, responding to changing shopper habits, intense competition, and the complexities of inventory management.

Shoppers now enjoy extended access to discounts on electronics, home goods, and holiday favorites, with many promotions starting as early as November’s first week.

This shift allows people to budget wisely, avoid last-minute stress, and secure popular items before supplies run low.

However, with deals constantly shifting, many rely on price-tracking tools and store apps to catch the lowest prices.

Despite the changes, Black Friday remains the year’s prime shopping season, offering local families more ways than ever to save before Thanksgiving even arrives.

Janella is 5 feet 5 inches tall, 135 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, and was wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt.
