A Hartland, Michigan resident is celebrating after winning $1 million in the Christmas Eve Powerball drawing.
The lucky ticket, sold at the Kroger on E. Highland Road, matched all five white balls: 04, 25, 31, 52, and 59, securing the second-tier prize.
Although the ticket missed the red Powerball 19 for the jackpot, it brought a joyous holiday surprise to the local winner.
Winners are advised to contact Michigan Lottery Player Relations to claim their prize, with a one-year deadline from the drawing date.

Although first meant to boost morale, the poster later emerged as a symbol of feminism and women’s rights, gaining prominence in the 1980s.
Recent celebrations, like Rosie the Riveter Day at the National Museum of Industrial History and immersive performances at the Military Aviation Museum, highlight the continuing relevance of these trailblazers.
Their enduring legacy champions equality, inspiring generations to recognize the transformative power of courage and collective action. Read More... |
