Megan Keller etched her name in Olympic lore by scoring the overtime winner that lifted Team USA to a dramatic 2-1 gold medal victory over Canada at the 2026 Winter Games in Milan.

Her decisive goal—coming just over four minutes into 3-on-3 overtime—capped an undefeated run for the U.S. women’s hockey squad, a feat last seen in 1998.

Keller’s heroics were set up by a pinpoint pass from Taylor Heise, as she sped up the ice, deked past Canada’s defense, and beat Ann-Renée Desbiens with a backhander.

The 29-year-old Michigan native finished the tournament with three goals and nine points in seven games, exemplifying world-class two-way play.
